Superffin Tissue Infiltration & Embedding Medium is a custom blend of highly purified paraffin and plastic polymers mixed in a ratio balance optimal for bothinfiltration and embedding. It can be used as a stand alone single paraffin of 2 in 1. *Sturdy on the waterbath*. Melting point: 56 C-58 C

It produces ultra-thin compression free ribbons with even thickness andthesections canbe cut as thin as2 um thick. Superffinprovides excellent support for all types of tissue samples while maintaining exceptional clarity.

Instruction for Use: Recommended infiltration temperature is 60-62 C. Range of infiltration time is 2-4 hours. Two changes of paraffinfor infiltrationis recommended. Longer (overnight) infiltration has been tested at 62 C and it has noeffects on quality of tissue sections.

Cooling temperature during embedding is 0 to -4 C. Block temperature for cutting can range from room temperature to4 C. Water bath temperature should be40-45 C.
